Fountain Pen Stores in Hong Kong with Maps

Notes:

For stationery in general as well as spaciousness and most space for display as well as being the most beginner friendly, I would suggest CN Square in Yaumatei. Ground floor display has plenty of pen and ink variety, and the first floor has notebooks and paper (Kokuyo, Maruman, Mnemosyne in particular). The second floor has washi tape and stamps and the third floor is all art supplies including watercolour postcards, dip nibs and calligraphy equipment as well as Platinum Preppies. In the ground floor display you can find Kaweco, TWSBI, Lamy Safari, Pilot 78G+, Metropolitan as well as mid and higher end pens from Pilot, Sailor, Platinum, Montblanc, Pelikan, Staedtler, Graf von Faber Castell, Waldmann, and others. They've recently put up a more exclusive display with sterling Aurora, Chinkin and Maki-e Japanese pens. Good selection of pen cases and pouches here as well. My first ever pen wrap was a cloth StarArt 10 paintbrush wrap from the top floor, I still use it as my primary wrap. Ink selection is also very diverse, including Sailor, Iroshizuku, Platinum, Montblanc, Pelikan, Pilot soda bottle sized inks, J. Herbin, Noodlers, Diamine, Caran d'Ache, Lamy, Hero, Kaweco, Monteverde, Waterman, pretty much all the standard inks. I will update this section with a complete list eventually.

Kubrick was the original sole dealer of TWSBI in Hong Kong for a good few years. They sell mostly only TWSBI pens with many nib units, calligraphy equipment from Brause, and were the earliest in HK to stock Diamine, De Atramentis and Herbin Ink, although other places stock these inks now. The Eslite bookstores also have a good selection of fountain pens from Kaweco, Lamy, Faber Castell, Graf von Faber Castell, and a few Parker, Pilot, Sailor and Platinum fountain pens as well. They stock Sailor, Iroshizuku, GvFC, Platinum, Herbin and were the earliest in HK to stock Kyo-no-oto and Kyo-iro inks. Both these places stock Rhodia. Eslite branches shown here are for Causeway Bay and Tsimshatsui but there is also a branch in Taikooshing.

Journalize in Causeway Bay is a good medium ground, they tend to follow Taiwanese stationery trends and stock Platinum, Sailor, Kaweco fountain pens, a lot of Midori traveler's notebooks and Midori notebooks, as well as Platinum Preppies in all nib sizes and highlighter and marker tips. They primarily have J. Herbin Inks and some Platinum inks. This store has a Platinum Century Tester Set.

Hop Cheung and Feng Yuan have the most history in Hong Kong, and are quite traditional in that they stock many of the higher end brands like Montblanc, Visconti, Aurora, Dupont, Cartier, Omas, Stipula, as well as a good variety from all the other brands. Lots of Pilots, Sailors, and Platinums. They have some inks and some pen pouches, wraps and cases, but not as vast as the space afforded by CN Square or Eslite. They sell a a good variety of affordable pens as well as the high end pens. These places are worth visiting for window shopping alone. They are not large stores, but they are dense.

Ink house is the latest addition to Hong Kong fountain pen store scene. It's worth visiting to see the many high end and maki-e pens from AP Limited Editions, Danitrio, Namiki and Sailor. There is also a generous selection of pens from all the different brands. Also there's a giant wall of ink that is switched regularly.  It would be a pleasant stroll to go from Hop Cheung to Winner to Ink House if you're in the area.

Also recent on the scene are Siugreat and Muze Pens in Shamshuipo. Siugreat is open on weekends only but has a good selection of inks and Japanese stationery in a small amount of space, and Muze pens have a large variety of fountain pens and ink on offer.

On the topic of Shamshuipo there's a lovely old man called Mr. Poon who runs a vintage second-hand pen store on Ki Lung St near the corner of the Pei Ho St. Sports Centre. He's been around for a very long time, and usually has a selection of old Parkers, Sheaffers, Montblanc and a few other pens that he's recently fixed up.

Yes I know there are other stores but these are the easiest to explain and access. You can cross reference these maps with the information from kmpn.blogspot.com.
